Willow, Alaska. 03.04.2007. Sigrid Ekran with her younger brother Petter joke about her winning the prize truck on her first try at running the Last Great Race. Sigrid Ekran (27) trains for her first Iditarod outside Knik, Alaska. She managed to scramble together 14 dogs for the race, and borrowed one from Robert Sorlie, Norwegian dog musher, and one from John Baker, a dog musher from Kotzebue. Sigrid Ekran participated in her first Iditarod in March 2007, making it across the state of Alaska in 10days, 13hours, 21minutes and 7seconds.
